Not for me. I was offered a new job yesterday that will be awesome, and today, Monday, I gave my shitty boss my 2 weeks notice.

Really he was both. He doesn't know how to think things out logically and bases most decisions on his emotions or impulses. We've had three failed projects in the last year and he will never listen to anyone elses ideas. You come to him with an idea and he takes it like, he acts as if your idea is attacking his power or something, he immediately dismisses it with a weak argument. We went from having like 15 employees to six now, and soon there will only be four (another person just put in their notice).

Our IT department had four quality employees six months ago, 2 programmers and 2 designers, three quit because of him and I'm the last one to do so.

He's just incompetant, inept, micromanaging republican with no people skills and is horrible at being a boss. I mean, i was up for a raise this year and I asked for one that was consistant with what kind of work I was doing, he gave me a raise well below what I deserved and then gave me menial bullshit work, probably because he didnt want to pay me what I would deserve.

I drive an hour to work now, the new job is 10 mins from my house. I will be making a lot more money, I will be the sole graphic designer in a burgeoning company that does everything right. I will have a lot of creative freedom and eventually I will have people working under me.

The best part is when they asked what I needed equipment-wise, to go with the computer I asked for a high def monitor and they didnt even blink.

Unless you don't want to burn any bridges...I, myself, love to burn down bridges and watch them burn to the ground with a blissful smile on my face! I know....I am working on that immaturity thing...but my issues with shitty-ass employers run deep!!
