I'm 35, work as a Corporate Library Director at a New York Law Firm. I play most stringed instruments (musical ones....you crazy bastards). I live in the Poconos in Pennsylvania.....Let me know if there are anyother subject you'd like me to bring up so you Bastards can rip that to shreads! :oP
Actually, my first impression of Iceland was this hobo stumbling towards me, then he turned right, just in time to avoid bumping into me, but hitting trash can instead, all carefully calculated I'm sure. And then he puked his guts out.
Hey man, be fair, he said "most stringed instruments," that hole thingy doesn't have any strings. But I'm sure he can play the round thing below it with the odd neck. Right?!?
There are no strings....I do play the female organ though....Please forgive me for going the Big Papi route.....
By the way the instrument is a Huwuzle....From the Grinch Stole Christmas....You don't want to know what the second hole is for....But it only involves Who's....
I know there are hot springs and stuff but the prevailing myth in America is Greenland is cold and Iceland is nice, what I'm saying is, it ain't Florida.
Pinchster ya esta!! LOL we were talkin bout icecube and your doin a ghetto cd cool.. some connection there. what do you know about iceland pinchy your a teacher and all
im telling you Tori im betting all my money Hermoine is gonna be a pornstar.. her red hair and attitude.. prob see her in 10 yrs from now in a movie called "Finding G-spot" or " Harry Potter and the Vagina of doom"..
But, generally when people refer to a 'nice' climate, it's a subtropical or mediterranean (sp?) one. Canada may be nice, but that weather ain't very friendly.
tell me about it i was pissing icecubes in montreal or qubec one of those two.. then i sold them as apple juice ice cubes :) (not really .. but its a good idea)
Lebanon has the Best weather.. cold enough but you can get by with a sweater and hot enough to just wear a tank top, even Brasil.. I dont really like malaysian and singapore weather too humid, Dubai too hot i open cold water it comes out hot..
Eduardo unless you can play the ukaleli with monster gloves.. this aint gone be about you lol
I think Lebanon's weather is probably like Southern California. I like Phoenix, it gets hot as Dubai and all but I prefer that to regular temperate weather, plus winters are golden. I'd move to Cali but its too damn expensive.
And Eduardo, we need visual proof of ukulele with monster gloves.
The Gulf Stream keeps Iceland (and most of northern Europe) comfortably tempered, even if it's on the same crazy longitude as Canada or Alaska. If you like having real seasons, living in a subtropical climate wouldn't be too fun. But it's indeed a nicer place to go on vacation. The bikini seasons is like 3 months long (short) here.
Madrid has a wretched climate. Its a temperate desert. So basically it gets colder than cold and hotter than blazes without a drop of water (normally, this has been an odd year and its rained quite a bit). Coming from a pretty humid region (Great Lakes) its really hard for me to adjust to the dryness.
Real, I have to say that everywhere has real seasons. The changes may not be the same as your used to but even the desert, which I live in, has very distinct seasons. You won't go from sunshine to snow and back but you will see different plants blooming in the different seasons, different animals about, and it does have a very different feel.
Now, maybe straight tropical or straight arctic climates won't have seasons but evel places like Florida experience seasons, just a bit more subtle.
You're right, "real" was the wrong word. There are obviously seasons all over the planet. I should have said seasons that display the widest change/spectrum possible in weather and climate, and exhibit the traditional/European/stereotypical qualities of the Four Seasons.
but all that has changed man.. weather climate and all i mean it was raining in Dubai a week ago, maybe now looking back i should of listened to those assholes that knocked on my door and warned me about this.. but shit happens then you die.
i say before we know it it would be raining in summer and shiny in winter.. antartica is melting and thats not a good sign if the water levels rise heaps of islands are fucked.. and overflowing and some countries may have shocking outcomes cause of it.. im talking wipped out.
I'm surprised there aren't any video game characters who use cricket paddles (rackets?) as weapons. Add American-Indian accent and you've got hilarious.
Scottsdale is more expensive, as is the area where I live. Still, a one bedroom closet in Scottsdale would only run you $600. Phoenix is more comparable to the midwest, affordability-wise. Buying a home is going to be more expensive but other than that things are comparable
