do you mean computer role-playing games or rules for table-top games? either way i don't know know much about pay-pal sorry i'm just excited in my nerdly way that someone else knows what warcraft is
Hmm... Mac or PC? I dunno about paying via paypal, but Neverwinter Nights was great, WoW is good, I don't have time to get in some serious play time anymore, but those two I was hitting pretty hard for a while.
good choices chef if you want to go old school you should check out baldurs gate and icewind dale weeks and weeks of solid gaming and if you can find it the fallout series are the best computer RPGs ever all of course in my opinion oh yeah and if you want a sci-fi twist check out the knights of the old republic games
WHOOHOOOO! Loved Baldurs and Icewind dale, pretty much anything Nioware makes is gold.
Loved fallout, used to play the pen and paper version back in the day.
But ya know, I played Kotor on Xbox, and couldn't stand it. I think it was the character you played. I just couldn't get into it.
You want to go total old school, do you remember the first Neverwinter Nights game on AOL waaaaaaaay back? Dude, I ran up 500 dolla phone bills playing that damn thing. Ahhhhh memories.... misty....water....colored....memories..... of the way.....we were........
I have a PC guys......a gaming Dell in fact.......paypal...yes...I prefer paypal.....that way I can fight a for a refund if the company that supplies the download shits on me.
.......oh, and JMC - that would be computer role playing games......Diablo II has long since been a fave of mine.......I had a soceress at level 62, with a bunch of rare donated items my pal gave me - but then I moved..........
Lost EVERYTHING - EVERYTHING, I tell you.....it's still a sore spot to this day.
Do you want massive multiplayer stuff or single player fun? I don't know of anyone other than say, shareware that you can pay for with Paypal.
Hit an EB Games and scare the kids that work in there with your sexiness, I'm sure you'll get them all hot and bothered and more than willing to help you in your quest for the holy grail.
Oh, Fable rocks. Loved that, beat it, and am still playing it. Best game I've ever put the time into other than the Bioware stuff.
Ummm i have spent way too many hours playing Civilization 3 and now Civ 4. It is a turn based strategy. It is really cool and in depth. BUT, i am a loser and really into geography and history and real time strategy's and shit. This is a real time consumer but one of my favs.
beaner i got civ 4 a few weeks ago very addictive if you like that you should try to pick up alpha centauri it is old and the graphics arent that great but it is a sid meyer game too and one of the best you would probably have to pick it up on ebay though not in the stores anymore
Nooooo, I was a PC person for 28 years. When OS X was released, I sold all my computers (*cough* 14 of them *cough*) and bought the first iMac and haven't looked back. Now I'm on a 20" iMac, 3 iPods, an iBook and still have the 14" iMac.
I will never go back. I sit in front of a PC now and I get annoyed very quickly. I still recommend PC's to people, Dells in particular, but for me, Apple is where it's at.
Nah, I don't know what it is about them to be honest, I mean, they're great looking, but they just work for me. I do a lot of web design and photo work on the side, so it also made a lot of sense in that area, Aperature is amazing for photo work.
But now I'll be able to run some windows stuff with that new program Apple released, I think it's called *joke's on you jack, you've been assimilated. Love, Bill Gates." I tried it out this morning. I can dual boot Windows XP and OS X. Legit-ly! Absolutely amazing. Never thought I'd see the day.
That's my geek post for this evening, tune in again for more Cheffy Tech next Tuesday, after the A Team, your local news and the Hooked on Phonics infomercial.
I got a better one..... Remember the show attached to these lyrics?
Look at what's happened to me, I can't believe it myself. Suddenly I'm up on top of the world, It should've been somebody else.
Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free-. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me.
It's like a light of a new day-, It came from out of the blue. Breaking me out of the spell I was in, Making all of my wishes come true-.
Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free-. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me.
Now I'm scaring myself.......Cheffy, you are the GOD of all the universe...and Castle Greyskull if I might add.
Just PLEASE don't tell me you had those lyrics memorized by heart.........
Oh, wait...and the title for that bird-hero Japanese anime series...wasn't it called "Thunderbirds" or some such thing? Dunno...........memory slipping with old age........35 creeping up fast.....
Okay - now I'm an uber-geek. I'm about to launch a gaming site. So, very, very, geeky.
Yes, Diablo II, I play to this day.
WoW is good, as a linear MMO, with near-open ended play. Runescape has a massive following - and is free for a little while. Guildwars is huge. Knights Online - huge again.
But my all-time favourite would have to be EVE ONLINE.
It blows everything else away for pure game play. Be prepared to lose your life to that game though.
J..........that WAS IT!!! I used to watch Starblazers, G-Force, and Robotech - while my little bro and I played He-Man and Crossbows and Catapults.
Fucking righteous.......and I love gaming - and I've sat and read about quantum physics until my eyeballs went dry....still trying to find contradicting theories to undermine the existing ones......like I said...still trying............. haha...never happen.
....hrmmmm....
The career possibilities passed me by. I was a cop's kid and an Army brat....THAT'S what happened. It's all coming back to me now........................
want to talk old school i used to have dark tower don't know if anyone remembers this game but it was fucking awsome it had a board and then this electronic tower that sat in the middle of the board i found this website http://well-of-souls.com/tower/ for some reason i want to say orson wells did comericals for it too
do you guys remember if it was orson wells that did the comercials? i tried to look it up and all i could find out was that he was still alive when it was released? i downloaded a java version from that website i posted has the original sounds and everything
.....this is a little late, but uh, Princess from G-Force got on my nerves because she came off as being a dimwit (like the young lady judges on Iron Chef - always an actress...hehe - or if it is an OLDER Japanese lady, she's as cold as ice and obviously deprived of getting laid..anyhooo.....).....the dimwit thing I lived with, regarding "Princess"...but it was the SEAGULL HELMUT that I STILL to this day, can't get over.
Was she a seagull? Or a duck? Or a blue heron? I dunno..................................and please.....let me not get into the scenes where Tiny was actually FIGHTING. Zikes.
Back when letterman used to be funny he had his little skits he did one with all these products one was an inflatable gandhi punching bag the tag line was: "see if he is a pacifist, or just plain yella"
