    i can see it now
    and i wish it was still the little red x
    the thing about celebrity is the inability to age gracefully
    when so much of your feeling of self is tied up in physicality
    it must be unbeliveably frightening to age
    so women, and men, will do stuff like this to their bodies

    I don't know about you, but I live in LA
    I see this kind of stuff all the time, so I'm kind of immune to it... and yet every now and then it still depresses me what a superficial world I live in

    i live in rhode island
    so you can imagine how often i see it
    though Newport is nice and superficial
    i used to live in CA,
    but it was the bay area
    which is a lot closer to New York in spirit than LA

    hard to say real
    i used to live in SanFran and it is nothing like that
    but Providnece is a funny city
    it is very small, but has 4 universities in the city limits
    including Brown and RISD
    not including Johnson & Wales which is a pretty good culinary school
    i'd say probably yes.
