WHOA!!! that shit looks hot! the 1st hulk had a nice trailer, (the living room scene teaser) but once you saw the hulk running around in San Fran looking like shrek, you could tell it was going to be terrible. but this looks sweet! and norton is good, cause he's got that soft spoken yet intense bruce banner, personalty trait. the villian looks a bit like Doomsday, but he looks like an awesome freak
Downey jnr is cool. Glad he and his talent seem to survived his troubles.
Yeah, The Abomination is a bit of a monster. Looks like they have kept (hopefully) some of the thinking and emotion of the first, and upped the action ante. And Downey jnr has a cameo in The Incredible Hulk. Are the comic book film makers finally catching on to the idea of pertinent crossover character cameos? We'll see.
i wanna checkout the hulk movie too. i never watched the first one. well i tried at least, i had 2 choices while watching- die or sleep. i chose sleep.
Speaking of Robert Downey, there's a movie coming up in August about some actors that portray soldiers.
"Downey's character is a very serious, Oscar-winning actor. And because the character he's playing in the Vietnam flick was originally written as a black man, Downey's character DYES HIS SKIN BROWN, so he can play it as it was originally written."
What's funny is, if that is really is Robery Downey Jr., he does it so well he make Ben Stiller look like he is faking being white. I love Ben, but he is like the same guy in every role. Has he had a serious role yet? Ben I mean.
Glimmer , that's one fucking disgusting picture. What a repulsive whale.
Azkadelia, I've always been fascinated with The Hulk...I guess it has to do with the fact I've never felt connected with the usual "handsome-blond-tall-with-a-chin-dimple" kind of hero.
Plus, when I was a child, I always liked the outcast, the pariah type of character. I used to root for the witch against "perfect" Snowhite, I hated the hunter because he killed the wolf (the old lady was probably already dead, for crying out loud!), the three little pigs should have been eaten and Hansel and Gretel were stealing, invading the witch's house...
When I first saw The Incredible Hulk, I finally felt I could root for the hero this time. He's sort of melancholic...he can't enjoy his fame...he is a man on the run, escaping from the authorities. The reason why he's so powerful is also the reason for his misery. He can't control what he is, and he has a really hard time trying to control his power.
I also love the idea of revenge...he "smashes" those who torture, chase him for no good reason. Every time someone teased or mistreated me I wished I could turn into him and beat the shit out of them.
I know it sounds silly, but I was a child...
So maybe that explains why I hated the 2003 version so much...I had waited my whole life to watch the only super (or anti) hero I ever cared about and I got to see *THAT*. Ang Lee didn't disappointed a grown up woman, he f*cking broke a 5* year-old-girl's heart!!!
*First time I watched The Incredible Hulk (I can't precise the exact year because in Brazil the American series were aired a year or two after than in the US). Someday I'll buy all the seasons' dvds (and the comics too -- at least a good collection).
