    this list doesn't look like any others. is that good or bad ???

    I wish magazines would stop making "hottest" and "most beautiful" lists. They're so ridiculous.

    Beautiful according to who? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    Also, they may be physically attractive but who the fucks cares? Half of the bitches on most of these lists probably have low IQs and crappy personalities.

    I wouldn't be surprised if people like Heidi Montag made the list in the future.

    i like the people list more at least in theory because they seem to looking for other traits/elements of persona/different type of looks. than just your generica getting people to drool 'hot' type thing.


    and if that means alba can't make the top five/ thank god or whomever. :)


    so i guess make mine people. :)

    And I agree 100% with Ana....Beautiful according to who??
    What I find beautiful may not be beautiful for another person,and vice-versa...

    in reference to thethread tiotle...there IS a difference...

    IE....Kate Beckinsale, Grace Kelly are BEAUTIFUL

    Ashley Tisdale, Michelle Trachtenberg are HOT.

    beauty suggests intimidation...hot suggests sexy, makes you hot...

    thats just my theory....

    It's from a book of Lawrence's essays called Sex, Literature, and Censorship that i picked up at a used bookstore in Philly this week.

    you can download the PDF here
    some of the essays are excellent
    in others Lawrence's dated view of women's place in society comes through a little too strongly
    Lawrence is at his best when he is talking about love:
    Love is a hasting gravitation of spirit towards sprit, and body towards body in the joy of creation

    and for Lawrence creation doesn't just mean procreation, but the creation of new experience.
