    RADIOHEAD.

    Amazing stage set, amazing music, amazing crowd, amazing Thom Yorke.
    It was yesterday @Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, I brought my cousin and met some hot chick in the crowd.
    (I gots her number.)

    Discuss radiohead plx?

    Radiohead... hmm... i'm not too fond of their music, it's too weird sounding. Some of their songs are catchy though. Their videos are interesting... like the one for Paranoid Android and Just...

    Thom Yorke is a vegan so I got a lot of respect for him :-)

    I like Radiohead
    i don't have all their CDs or anything
    i think beyond the music what i like best about them is that they have evolved since Pablo Honey
    and they didn't let the success of Creep ruin the band

    trying to hard to be like a modern day VU.

    not big on them, and i hated the fact when i played guitar and discussed guitarists online with other musicians that radiohead fans or people who were influenced by radiohead thought JOhnny Greenwood was the greatest guitar, no questions or arguements.

    guys like a second rate Edge to me, but with more pedals that are more expensive.

    Radiohead is quite good. I'm not a die hard fan...but I wouldn't pass up the chance to see them live.

    Wow, lucky you! ;) ...I really like Radiohead....hated them at first, but I think it takes a bit to work into....lol, my friend said that's called DEPRESSION.
    I don't know, but I really like Karma Police and Street Spirit...
    Think you really got to be in a right mood to listen to their music-I don't know, I can't listen to it as easily as other stuff.

    i've known that they got a solid fanbase..but arent they one-hit wonders, at least here in the states?

    I think they are more accidental One-hit wonders, Francois. Because I think they are more Indie/cult than anything else and Creep's success was a bit of a fluke.

    i remember when creep, as well STP's Plush, heavily polluted radio and mtv in the summer of '93.

    I quite like them. Moody, powerful, melodic. I don't know all of their stuff, but the stuff that I have heard, very good.

    I like them well enough. Can't say they are my favorite band ever... but they have some really good songs. Plus one of my closest friends is absolutely fanatical about them... so I always think pretty fondly of them.

    I had a really awesome response written out...and then pressed the back button on accident. Slightly frustrated, so I'll get back to it soon. In the mean time, just check out a couple short clips for the set. The poles are suspended lights that change colors accordingly and they're really beautiful...whoever filmed these didn't have an amazing view but it's a good idea.
