    So if you're bored, check out what people who got a stimulus check are doing with it.

    Here's a few examples:
    "With my stimulus package I bought a Star Wars Stormtrooper armor costume kit to wear, to display, and to do charity work with the 501st Legion. Best $600+ dollars I ever spent."

    "My wife and i used the money to pay our six month installment of our property taxes. Oh, and a white russian too . . . almost forgot about that."

    Here's what I did;
    I knew I was getting x amount. So I set aside that amount, threw it into sharebuilder, bought a few shares of stock. Over the 6 months, they made a small profit. Once the check came from Uncle Bushie, I took the profit from the shares and banked it, leaving the original amount riding the stock waves.

    So mine paid off my credit cards, so the only things left are house payments and a well earned vacation on the cheap with the profit from the stock.

    I don't get one since I worked out of the country last year. Bah. I would probably use it to fix up my car a bit, maybe get another laptop, or possibly take a bit of a jaunt back to Europe. Don't know, since I didn't get one.

    I think I will get a big one for two of us with two kids. But I'd rather not plan until I get it. Alcohol will most definitely be involved though.
