    Ok, if you were given around $2500 and told that you can travel any where in teh world....

    1. where would you go
    2. why
    3. how long would you stay (realistically)
    4. would you rent a car?
    5. and whatever else detail you can provide

    and.......discuss.

    1) Egypt
    2) I was an egyptian in my past life... eh, not really... um, i dunno. i loved egypt ever since i was a kid :)
    3) 2 weeks max (but with the budget, i dont think thats possible...)
    4) why rent a car when they have tour buses!
    5) im going to meet real342 there, by the sphinx, to be specific... (where the hell is he anyway?) :D yipee!

    im nuts...

    I hear they play a lot of grabass in Egypt...

    1. Amsterdam
    2. Weed, Absinthe, Hookers, History, Museums, Coffee, Art, Culture.
    3. 2 weeks, paid vacation.
    4. i would not rent a car.
    5this is the ultimate vacation that i have wanted forever. Someday i will go.

    Hahahahaa! Grabass... Holy shit. My father used to say that about the Boy Scouts.

    Done Beans vacation. It's mandatory that you go. Preferrably not around the cannibis cup, too many people. Lots of theives and you don't really get the experience of being in the 'dam.

    1- Castalamare Del Gulfo, a town in Sicily. My grandparents home in the country.
    2- never got to go when they were alive. It's been in my family since 1837
    3- a month. Pull a whatchamcallit something Tuscan Sun and work the land
    4- You'd have to, there's no bus that goes to the town and I'm too lazy to walk
    5- I dunno, I ignored a lot of my families history when I should have been paying attention, so it's kind of a guilt thing on top of the vacation.

    You'll like Eygpt Tori, esp if you go on one of those boat cruises up the Nile with the coach trips thrown in, most times the moor up less than a mile from where you need to go anyway. Can be cool.

    Amsterdam is cool. Cosmopolitan, good food, nice people, good cafes, though I didn't partake.

    1. I'd like to go to Japan.
    2. It calls to me! Ha ha. No, I ..just have this real desire to go there.
    3. Two weeks?
    4. Nah, trains and taxi's, hopefully one of those taxi's where you can choose your own music!
    5. Eat good food, chill out, try to interact, get culture shock! See lots of techno wizardry and architecture.

    1. Thailand - For the food silly....Actually the budist temples would be cool to visit too.
    2. China - What? For the McDonalds!

    4. Italy....Particularily the Tuscan region.

    Dude... you really pulled this one out of the depths of the forum...

    1. South America (Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Venezuela)
    2. Spanish speaker's dream come true...
    3. Probably a couple months
    4. If I were able to, because road trips in foreign countries are the best.
    5. Spanish, culture, good food, history, amazing sites, natural beauty... Macchu Picchu, Corcovado, Las Pampas, Tierra del Fuego, The Andes, Tropical Rainforests, The Amazon... Sigh...
