    NO WHERE on the list, is BRAM STOKER's Dracula....but BOOK LESTAT is #1... yeah right... EPIC FAIL #1

    how about this bullshit? ANGEL @ #7.... yet NO SPIKE?!?!? Seriously, i dont know ONE PERSON who watches the Buffy/Angel shows... that thinks ANGEL is better than SPIKE... even if they are an ANGEL FAN.

    Epic Fail #2.

    Where is Max Schrek? he set the standard for ALL movie vampires.... but ALAS... missing from this list... EPIC FAIL #3

    heres my # 4-6 Fails... which i can understand people disagreeing with, but alas...

    Willam Dafoe in Shadow Of The Vampire...
    Anne Pailliand from Innocent Blood....
    Gerard Butler in Dracula 2000.. which in my opinion is the GREATEST and most Unique way to explain the vampire's origin.

    bottom line tho is, ANY VAMPIRE THAT "SPARKLES" in the sunlight shouldnt be on a "GREATEST" list of vampires.... LET ALONE @ #4.

    i realize that EW needs to sell magazines... and Tru Blood and twilight do that.... but the complete ignorance of the EW staff writers is truly amazing.

    1. Edward Cullen is not even a real vampire and i hate him more than life itself
    2. What BTD said about Spike. Everyone knows he was the best part of Buffy apart from Willow.
    3. I do agree with the Lestat ranking, as i love the vampire chronicles.

    No...ANGELUS needs to be on that list, not Angel. Angel was a "magnificent poof". Angelus is pure fucking sadistic hotness on a stick. Big difference. In fact, half of the list should be just Jossverse vamps (even Harmony....c'mon....a vampire that loves unicorns & pink....pure comic gold).





    Bram Stoker's Dracula should be #1.


    And Blade is a dhampyr (half vampire).


    This list makes me want to punch babies.

    DJ you are right about the Angel thing... it shouldve been Angel/Angelus.

    i didnt even think about that as i figure it was the same person? but look who they are playing too..... OF COURSE the Twilight lovers would LOVE "Angel"

    Alina saying "Blade Trinity doesnt exsist" LMAO... how about Selene from Underword? LMAO Kate Beckinsale is in 1 and 2.... Rhona Mitre is 3...

    i LOVE beckinsale and i dig underworld, but she shouldnt be on that list either.....

    the listis laughable, and i figured people would get a kick out of it...

    whats funny tho DJ, about the Whedonvese vamps.... i think the most haunted and complex one is Darla. Spike, Dru arent too "deep"..... angel kinda needs to be "angel" to be conflicted, cause when hes angelus hes not...

    now im not saying Darla is the BEST, but, id suggest out of all the vamps we saw in both series, Darla was the most complex.... might agree might disagree but thats what i always felt...

    Actually, Spike & Dru are the most complex. Darla's just angst-ridden and Angel is just...emo.



    Look up Spike's back-story and then look up Dru's back-story and then all the stuff about them wreaking havoc together (especially the book Pretty Maids All In A Row). They are literally the vampire equivalents of Sid & Nancy. But overall, I'd say Spike is the most complex.

    yeah spike and drusilla were brill. I miss buffy so much. I cried for a few days after the last episode.
