  1.
    saw this today.

wonder how long till we get a hannah Montana-spiderman cross over... oh wait, that might actually improve those piece of shit series of movies...

but yeah seriously... does that mean LOST of censoring?

look at when EA started buying up all competing video game companies, i rememeber thy bought teh company that made a ultra violent fighting games called Thrill Kill, and then shelved it cause it was TOO VIOLENT,,,

we already know how disney works..... i wonder what this means for marvel...
  2.
    *sighs*

Today is a sad day for all of geekdom.

    A moment of silence, please.
  3.
A very excellent business decision on Disneys part.

I too have the same fear as others though, that they will either tame or shelve some of the more violent storylines and characters in the Marvelverse.
  4.
I fucking hate Disney. They've been sucking ass and getting away with it for about 2 decades and now they're gonna take Marvel down too. The thing is they may actually make it more popular... however that doesn't actually mean better quality. Just means it'll be mediocre crap that the kiddies will eat up.
Chances are they you'll see Peter Parker dancing around like a panzy, Zac Efron style, lol.

They also brought Bandai's Power Rangers a while back. However that was bad already and nobody cared.

    ...someone didn't see Spider-Man III. ^_~
  6.
Hahaha! Oh shit... Since my brain is always telling me that, that movie never happend, I tend to forget.

Marvel movies tend to suck and be slightly or even totally inaccurate. Why? I don't know. But they have been pissing me off for a while now. This is just the icing on the cake. I have no faith in theme anymore. Ironman is the only Marvel movie worth it's hype.

Oh and Caitie. If you haven't already, you should check out a Manga called Gantz. It's a complete mindfuck...
  7.
    Iron Man was pretty good.

And I will def. check that manga out.
  8.
and i agree with Iron Man being good.

once marvel started making their own movies, they showed some potential.

IDK if DISNEY/Marvel is gonna have that same "edginess"

id suggest that they are gonna go back to being tame.

iron man fans. i think the iron man rights are currently with another company (paramount ??? ) and just like spiderman (which sony controll has the movie rights to any contracts that were down pre this merger will be honored/continued 9or however i should phrase it )

so disney/marvel won't have the chance to get iron man back for a few years.

so if iron man 2 isn't good.whomever can't use the disney thng as proof of them ruining marvel.

but yeah i do wonder if a religious groups complains about a story element would disney change it/rid it from a comic/movie.
  9.
glimmer, they said they are allowing the people with rights already to make the movies in production, IE Iron Man 2, Thor, Avengers, Cap America?

but aparently disney is planning on buying back the rights of everything else that people have rights to, or, trying at least.

Pixar is apparently already planning an Ant-Man movie.

  11.
    Pixar?

    Point proved.

    Let the fail begin.
  12.
Fly the flag at half mast, Sir Loki.
  13.
pixar hasn't made a REAL good movie since toy story. no... i'll give them the incredibles too. but that was such a rip off. fantastic 4 anyone?
i swear, if i see thor or loki in a pixar movie, then the flags coming down. the helmet in the profile pics may have come down too.

  15.
Aren't anti-trust laws still in affect? Disney is like the Hitler of media. Pretty sad when you force people in America to buy cable just so you
can watch Monday Night Football. Now this.....Don't even want to start on Pixar.
It truly was a sad day and I imagine the products to go down hill from here....Competition is a good thing.
If you eat the competition, the only thing left to do is shit out the by-product. Too sad.

Now if they only made the list of all the people that Disney owns....Oh wait. That might not have a server that can hold that much information.

oh and back to ant-man. an ant-man movie was in the works/being considered way before the disney thing. i'm not sure what route they were gonna take. but the vibe i got was most didn't take it seriously/think it would be good.

ant-man-pixar thing doesn't seem bad to me/since most think this shouldn't be done as serious/dark movie anyway...

and could the results be worse than a the fantastic four four films ???

if you don't want an ant man movie at all that's cool.

put if pixar is gonna do a marvel thing give them something like ant-man and not thor...

the general public would probably think ant-man was a something pixar invented anyway...
pretty much everything pixar touches goes $200 million plus stateside/could they do that with ant-man ???

and has loki mentioned the incredibles went over pretty well.

and every time pixar releases something it's considered an event movie. if you're gonna do family friendly (or however i should phrase it ) superhero stuff guess you could do worse than handing it to pixar.

as long as family friendly doesn't become the norm.but a ant-man/pixar thing seems like good match. or was ant-man always a laughable character ???
  18.
i have to admit i like the brad bird pixar crew stuff.

Incrediables (cmon, he calls Jason Lees charachter by jason lee's Chasing Amy charachter name, thats just awesome)
i like cars, i liked rattatouille....

i dont think that i like the idea of disney making anything NON Disney esc related. like a Marval Franchise already established as something, it seems liek Disney will water it down ALOT
